Default 00' civic headlight problem {Battery reconnected in the wrong order}

I accidently put the negative connector on the battery terminal first. Ever since doing that my headlights have been acting up.. My low-beam lights will not work anymore. Instead when putting the switch o nthe steering column to low beam, it will light up the high beams and show the blue high beam light on the dash.. I have to assume that it is due to the battery since i had to reconnect it

Everything worked fine 30 mins before it too. Any people who have had to deal with similar problems? I have browsed the forums for the last 10 hours, i cannot find anything too.

Much thanks in advance!!

Could this be at fault? the harness that connects to the light itself? But I dont understand why it would light up the high beam indicator inside dash aswell when i turn on the low beams
