Hi everyone! new to the site but i have a question....im looking to do a k24 swap into my EG6 and boost it i was gonna go with a k24a8 motor cause obvisiously its a lot cheaper motor than the a2 but a little birdie told me i would be better off goin with the a2 cause the a8's ivtec is more of a economy ivtec....now i know that it'll make a differance in hp but probably not a huge one....just looking for other pro's and con's and which one would be more reliable...not looking to waste my money so any tips would be greatly appriciated thanks

how much you asking for?

 

A1 or A4. If you are stuffing air in it it doesnt matter. The A2 is too expensive for the benifits it has to offer. Besides you can always do a vtec killer setup in it. I have built a few A4's for boost and they work out pretty good. Compresion is lower than an A2 also.

 

Location and prices on the motors please? and any info about the motors, mileage and condition.... thanks man for the helpful info
