why do you need other peoples advice on what to use?

Several things you need to look at when you want to rev the motor higher. Oil pump is one, and see at what rpm will start cavitating. Rods and rod bolts are another, and looking where the rod bolts will start streching. One other is why you are looking to rev it higher. Are you using a cam that will require you to rev it higher? Or you just doing it for the fun of it?

I have a A2 oil pump on an A4 block But had my complete rotating assembly balanced and I am using a ITR K20a head...I rev mine safely to 8900RPM with no problems but if you dont make power up that high its pointless.... So I stopped making power at 7900RPM So I say if you have everything balanced and an A2 pump try it out on a couple pulls on the dyno and stop your rev at whatever you stop making power....

If you have an a2 oil pump with some supporting modifications, you should be fine up to 9k. But it all depends on where you stop making power, to be honest, there is no point in revving to 9k if you stop making power ~8k rpm, as the others have said.
