Cooling issue
Can’t seem the find the answer anywhere else, what should my cylinder head temperature sensor be at because everytime I drive my k swap the gauge will be reading normal but kpro is telling me that my cylinder head temp sensor will sometimes get to about 216 degrees, is that normal or should my cht be at 190?
186 is the target temp at the coolant temp sensor in the head. Matches the thermostat temp.
The gauge cluster temperature gauge is pretty dead and shows normal from ~150 to ~220.
One of my swaps would get hot going down the highway with a worn out half radiator in a 300k mile Insight. Went to a full width Integra radiator with custom end tanks and now it almost runs too cool.
