How's it going ya'll? Yes, I said ya'll, so if you can't guess I'm from Texas. South Texas to be exact. I am the proud owner of a '92 Civic Hatchback. I love it, it's my baby. I've spent ALOT of time working on it and building it up. I've got a couple questions, real quick if anybody is wondering...first question: eg, ek, eh...what is that referring to and how do I find out the designations on my car? Second, I am planning on a swap, a buddy of mine wrecked his Acura with a 3.2 v6, will it all swap out? If so, what accommodations need to be made, I.e. upgrades on front shocks, add weight to the back to counterbalance the additional weight up front, anything would be nice. Third, I ordered a set of fog lights to add to my car, I didn't have fog lights to start out with(this will be an add on), are there different styles of stock front bumper and are there any plates that should be added? Any information would be appreciated and helpful, thanks very , much

 

Where in S. Texas are you from? EG, EK refers to you chassis code, you can find more on here Honda Chassis Code Checklist - Honda Tuning Magazine . There's a mean looking del sol with that swap somewhere on here. Like they say, with money, anything can be done.

 

To be exact, Flour Bluff, rounded off to Corpus Christi. Thanks for the pointer on the chassis code. I found a local shop that quoted me 2000-2500 and it'll take about two weeks. I'd lole to find someome who will do it for less, but he's the only custom car shop I'm familiar with. I don't trust people working on my cars normally, seeing as I know how to do just about anything and everything on most vehicles, I just don't habe the time to do it. We've done business in thd past, interior and sound wise, so I trust these guys, but if anyone has any thoughts or recommendations, I'm all ears. It's sp much easier to figure things out when you have a good group of Honda-heads in your corner.
