Transmission Failure
Hi all,
Recently I pulled a transmission out of my 2001 Civic EX for the purpose of replacing a Rear Main Seal that was leaking oil. I did drain all the transmission fluid and I replaced with brand new fluid. Upon driving the vehicle the transmission went into false neutral in all gears. I have been told that replacing old fluid with new fluid could clean out sludge and make the transmission fail. Is this in anyone's experience?
