Hey guys I'm Chris new to Honda tech but I am hoping to help people with my knowledge as well as helping others with things that I may know myself. I would really love some help with my civic though. It is a 95 model with the regular 1.5 lit. engine (non v-tech) and it is having problems shifting and idling. when running it reaches 3000 rpm before it shifts and when it idles, it bounces between 1000 and 1500 rpms. The gas pedal is also really stiff. I've checked the tps, checked the gear selection cable, and all fuses for possible short and nothing is wrong with those. The cruise control doesn't work either but I doubt it has anything to do with it. I try adjusting the throttle cable as well and nothing really happens. Anyone know what to do or what might be causing this?
