Third time is the charm...
Good day gentleman (and ladies if present). Im a third time accord owner, a 1996 Sherwood Green, EX, Automatic. I was in the market for another one and acquired it through a younger gentleman who was obsessed with "scare stickers" all over the car, that quickly got removed upon arriving back home. The car isnt perfect, but I wanted another project. The paint is faded and needs a tune up.
I had an accord in my early 20's (Im 31 mind you) that I had built from a bone stock 1995 Accord DX manual I had received as a gift from my father after having problems with my 1986 Toyota Cressida (anyone knows about those I had the rare manual version.) I obviously made some unethical decisions, namely slammed suspension, stiff spring rate, large 18" wheels, but I was proud of the JDM H22 A swap I had did though granted running the extra wires needed was a pain. It had Brian Crower cams, Apexi VAFC II , Apexi World Sport II cat back, "modified" catalytic converter, Header and short ram intake. Great car, peppy as all could be, ran a 14.3 at Bristol Drag Way with a blown synchro in second gear.
I however sold my baby after acquiring 2 toyota pick up trucks, and also needing money to boot the bill for my upcoming honeymoon so I took a loss (had the elusive rear panel rust) and sold her for basically the price of the engine and mods.
My second one, was junk. A 94 LX auto turned manual, dont very shotty I may add. Plagued with issues I sold her promptly after 3 months.
My plans for this one is the F 20 B swap, with LSD transmission. The car already has 17" wheels they just need some work. Looking into the Euro R or Si R front lip along with the rear spoiler. Nothing fancy with this one. Just clean and quick.
I hope to bring to this forum some expertise I have with knowledge of being a former MECP II certified master installation tech. I shall try to upload the pictures soon, Im using my phone as a Wi Fi hotspot tether (thank god for Sprint and unlimited data.)
