Hi everybody. I have a 92 accord lx 2.2 sedan my problem is as follows:
I drive my car for qute a few times like 6 to seven times most of them like 80 some miles every other day. I noticed that my lights kinda dim the last 3 of those times. The next time of my turn to drive, at the end of the workday my car didn’t want to start at all. I jumped it and that way I got home in is biter winter. I thought it was the battery cuz of the dim headlights from the previous days before it died. I parked it at home. I check if it would start and nothing happen, just a click and that was it.
I heared in some cases the black yellow wire from the alternator is the culprit. Well, chek the black and yellow wire all the way to the fuse box, I check continuity and it is ok. O noticed that I had battery, cuz my interior lights were on. Opened the switch and here the sound when the key is on ignition and the lights on dashhoard on like if everythng is ok, tried and just a click and everything when off, zero, dead. Well I check for short circuit and I saw 10.33 voltage to car body. Battery boltage 12.50 volts. 30 secs later I heared a click from somewere under the hood. Recheked the shortage and 0 volts when I check for short circuit and my interior lights and dashboard lights on like mormal again.

I need your help ti find if there is short circuit protection on this car if there is one where it is located.
Any help is apreciated.
