I need a current Honda technician to pick his brain for a min. I picked up a 01 Honda civic HX with a D17A6 with a CVT Transmission. When I got the car. The D symbol was flashing green. After finding out it was a cvt transmissions we ran codes. Replaced sensors. Etc. still flashing green drive symbol and won’t move under its own power. So I bought a new cvt transmission from foreign engines. Got the new transmission installed. The car now moves under its own power. But the drive symbol still flashes green. And there’s a hesitation till about 3500rpm before the car actually starts to move. Looking for a tech that works with cvt transmissions directly.
