Re-Introduction Midwest guy with an EK
Hello All!
I've been out of the Honda Scene for quite a few years (Pursuing ford small block swapped projects), but have 'reeled it back in' due to some mounting debt, and found myself back in a Honda again.
Going to be saving up my pennies to pickup a 2007-2009 GT500 in the up coming few years, but until then, I introduce my new DD.
1997 Civic LX, 4 door, 5 speed:

Nothing super special, but I've always wanted an EK Sedan with a 5 speed to play around with (Semi sleeper with a swap, usable rear seats, great MPG's).
Depending upon what falls into my lap, I'd like to toss a B18B or B20 into it in a few months just for a little more grunt (since the current motor has 225K on the clock), and take it Auto-Xing with my wife and our Turbo Cooper S.
Did my first little 'mods' this evening just to make it a little nicer:
-Replaced the stock headunit with a generic aftermarket one I had laying around
-Replaced the lower DIN slot where the cassette deck was with one from a 99 civic (that has a cubby).
-Replaced the OEM shift **** with an Integra one (Worlds of difference IMO)
-Already installed Poly shifter bushings and a generic short shifter (Stockers were all shot)
Things to come:
-Need to fix the rear sagging headliner
-Need to replace the front wheel bearings (will probably just upgrade the whole spindle with Integra ones from what I recall).
-Need to do rear disk swap and prop valve swap and potentially master IIRC, its been a while since I've done civic brake stuff.
-Some small cosmetic stuff (replace hazed headlights with black housing HID ones, and peeling grill with a type-R/Mesh style one).
-Rota Slips and a B18B/B20 swap down the road (No stranger to the B-series motors, did B18 swaps twice previously to my EG and EJ's)
First little mods:
