I've been out of the Honda scene since early 00's but came across a clean title 99 Sedan I couldn't pass up. The pervious owner set it up as a weekend track car with nice mods including a B18C5 (stock internals) with vin matching trany & P73 A03. I am out here in CA so unfortunately this set up is not legal as the motor is older than the shell and I want a smog / BAR legal set up now as I will be commuting daily 100 miles round trip and don't want any issues with CHP / smog. I also feel it's a shame to put the hard LA freeway miles on this motor so I am swapping in a rebuilt 01 C1 in the next few weeks. I am considering looking for a 98 ITR or 98 HB for the C5 or may sell outright, no sure yet. Power on the motor was unknown until a few weeks ago when I took it to Church in LA. With a S300, it laid down a respectable 194HP to the wheels reving clean to 9K.
