Hello everyone, I am a diy'r and have a 1990 Honda Prelude. The vehicle is my sons and I thought it would be good to be connected to a site that would help us both to troubleshoot and keep his Lude on the road.

Just been scratching my head on finding a part for my Prelude. Throttle position sensor. I found out my code by removing the pass side carpet. It flashed 7 times so I have a code#7 for the Throttle position sensor. I understand that in order to remove the sensor your have to cut into the screw heads to get a screwdriver to remove it because honda wants your to buy the whole throttle body. So I guess I have to figure out how to remove the sensor before I can install the new one. Any ideas out there? I have the part inroute from Pro Import Tuners.
