New Honda Owner, just bought a 99 civic sedan automatic with D16Y7 engine with 144k original miles. Only bought car to drive back and forth to work 90 miles each way. However since it is all freeway I would like to do some simple upgrades eventually and would appricate all your feedback.

Welcome on board! Congrats on your Honda, you won't be disappointed with it. What exactly are you planning? There are lots of great choices for parts, service and many owners willing to help you.

Thank you, while just found out I have a blown head gasket so I am in the process of replacing my engine with a D15B. Guess the little old lady I bought it from never drove it far enough for it to overheat. I am interested in lowering it and have really been looking into the function and form type 1s, magnaflow cat back and skunk2 intake manifold with throttle body. What are your thoughts?
