New to HondaTech
I have owned Hondas since the late 70's when I was driving around the 1976 Honda Civic: fully synchromeshed five-speed transmission, four-wheel independent suspension, 1.5 liter overhead-cam CVCC 4-cylinder engine. Easy to rev out and went through and over snow drifts no problem. And if the battery was dead .... open the door .... pushing on the door frame and run a few feet .. get back in and shift into 2nd gear and let the clutch out ... bang! Ignition on! then to Preludes, VTEC civics...1980's Mercedes 300SD and 300TD wagons, a couple of cross country trips in the 300SD, and 1987 Goldwing.... whistful ... and at present a daily driver / racer Lexus sc400 and a 95 Civic EX.
A nerd by training (data recovery / forensics) and a communicator by life. Hopefully I can help out, since I can do head gaskets in my sleep. As well as working on ECU's mostly Toyotas and Lexi. Have followed and learned a lot about the Honda ECU's from Xenocron and Hondata and others on here, so a shout out and a big thank you to all who have already contributed.
