I’m having issues getting in and out of second gear in my 2000 Honda Civic , looking for any guidance on what might be the cause of this issue , no grinds , slips or pop outs and shifts smooth into every other gear. Cars stock what should I take a look at first

 

First thing is check the trans fluid and make sure its not low and its still good. only other option is opening up the transmission. sounds like your syncro may be a little chewed up.
