sorry for the name it’s been a long *** day and after a few beers I couldn’t think of anything else 😜
that said, I’m new to Honda, silly me took 20 years to get over my prejudice lol. So yeah, I have some knowledge but seek to learn a lot more. Got a 99LX that I wanna 5 speed swap. I’m sure this has been talked about a million times so any info would be helpful. I have read the sticky about the swap but I do t understand why I need to change intake manifolds. I understand the wiring re-wire and what not, I am a technician so work doesn’t scare me, but not having info does.
Was the EK LX not offered I. A 5 speed? I don’t see why if it was I would have to swap intakes... that just doesn’t make sense. For the record my car has the smaller plastic (I think) I take with the throttle body opening facing up.
