My long overdue return
Well, here I am again. Been waiting for far too long to get back the one thing that (other than my family and closest friends of course) truly brought me endless joy and rarely at times great frustration and migraines. It took many years of hard work and sacrifice to get myself to the point where I could have the means to comfortably support my family and my passion for cars. To finally share it with my sons and to instill in them what it means to have pride in what you've got. To care for and preserve something that can provide memories of pure joy and excitement. As inanimate as it may be, we become attached to these machines. Almost like it's a living, breathing, extension of yourself. A little piece of history. We create them and at times destroy them. We stare at them in child-like wonder for hours on end. Studying the lines and curvatures closer even though we've seen it a thousand times. We use science and physics to enhance the nature of these metal contraptions, these miracles of technology, to make them a rollercoaster, a fire breathing dragon or maybe just to make them beautiful and sexy and voluptuous and shiny. They sit outside our homes in a garage and make us lust for them at night when we should be sleeping. Sometimes it makes others lust for them which makes sleeping very difficult if you don't have a garage.
Anyways before I start writing a novel, I'm just glad I've got my passion back. I'm very happy to be here again with the rest of you degenerates.
