HI my names Kevin from San Jose CA. I drive an automatic 1996 Honda Civic d16y7. I have all the parts to do a manual swap and mini me conversion. I've decided to go with the ACT HDSS clutch kit. I've been a lurker for nearly 5 years and finally signed up because I'm looking for D16 TURBO PARTS. Also Interested in super charger kits!
I also have a 2004 Honda CRV and 2003 Honda Accord. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Hello I'm actually here to try and get some assistance on my stepson's 1990 Honda Accord. I personally own a 2002 BMW 325I hence the user id. We had worked together on his 1990 Honda accord DX and changed the timing belt and water pump. Got everything running great but after a few days apparently he loosened the camshaft sprocket bolt without me knowing or took it out and forgot to put it back in. I'm not sure how it lasted this long and not sure why he thought it was a good idea to take it off. I should have monitored his work a little closer. So I will have a Thread to post and hope I can get a question answered.

Hi folks, I've used Honda Tech on and off for the past ~10 years as a technical reference for DIYing stuff on my "vintage" NSX. I figured it was about time I created an account.
I'm Richard, I drive a '92 NSX, it has (as of this post) just shy of 275,000 miles. I bought it a decade ago for pennies during the recession as something of a rescue and have restored and driven it quite a bit since. I'm currently using it to drive as many different racetracks as I can as part of my YouTube project "Lap of the World".
I've appreciated the Honda/Acura community, particularly in NSX circles, but I've also participated in events with ITR (now Type R) club as well as S2000 club. See you in the forums or at the track!

Re: Member Introductions
Hello,
Recently traded a 2004 Jeep HO for a 2001 CRV and then traded the CRV for a 1993 Del Sol Si.
I am an MR2 guy at heart
Looking forward to learn about hondas here and all about my new daily. "Mr.Maruchan" the Del Sol.
I am currently replacing all the suspension components under way are poly bushings, koni yellow/GC, new steering rack, tie rod ends, ball joints, front Skunk2 control arms, outer tie rod ends, some ebay strut bars, F/R wheel bearings, SS brake lines, calipers, rotors, GSR blade wheels, brake pads, and rear camber adjustment arms.
Looking for GOOD/THE BEST starting point for alignment. This car will see some autox action and maybe a track day or 2.
I don't have big plans for the engine... just tuning it up and getting the D16z6 running well.
Thanks Yall!
Matt and Mr.Maruchan

I own a 2012 Honda Civic SI (FB6), stock for the most parts but i have plans for it. Thanks again!

Hi all! My name is James and my daily is a 90 EF hatch. Owned a 91 EF sedan back in the day and I've always missed it so I jumped on the hatch about a year ago. Paid almost nothing for the car ($175 at auction) and got it running for cheap ($100 battery and a stolen-from-junkyard relay) so I was pretty lucky at the beginning and started driving her right away. OFC my lil D15B isn't "fast" but the 90 hatch had that same pep I remembered from the old '91 and the shorter length hatch was able to zip in and out of Austin traffic so beautifully. Fell back in love with Honda. Then the problems began, lol. (steering bushings, ball joints, idle issues, sticking throttles, just about every rubber/plastic peice that could fail did so in the first few months) But nothing I couldn't figure out with a lil help from Honda-Tech. I've replaced alot of stock parts now and done a few mods along the way (dpfi-mpfi conversion, cheapo header/exhaust, chipped ECU) but she is still in alot of areas just a 28 year old pile of bolts. I have been able to keep her on the road with your help and just wanted to introduce myself and say thanks to the HT community.

Hello! I've been searching this site for lots of info for months. (thanks for that btw) I got tired of my slow, large displacement cars; so I spent $350 for a slow, small displacement car.
I've replaced all of the front end suspension and did a top-end clean and rebuild.
I like it alot so far. Thanks again.

Hello everyone!
Nice to meet everyone. I’m new to this forum thing. But I figured why not give it a shot. Anyways my name is Manuel Velazquez I am 22 years old. Full time student at CSULA and a part time sales associate. I have passion for cars and photography as well. I am from California. I currently have a 2000 Acura Integra LS Auto ( thanks to my dad, gave it to me when I got my license almost 3 years ago). I have done little things here and there, I don’t know too much of the mechanic stuff so some stuff I had professionally done by my mechanic. Here are some pictures of my Integra.

Was up every one. I'm a new member but I'm not new to Honda's. I am a Nissan guy at heart but I've helped build a few of my friends Honda's and Acuras. And I currently own a 89 hatch. My first Honda was a 88 crx. I plan on keeping this ef for awhile so I figure I would join the forum now.
my hatch the day I got it
It's still a work in progress
After painting the bay and doing the mpfi harness conversion
Current parts list -
D15B w/ 3 stage vtec
Chipped p28
eBay coils on tokico blues
Headers
Crx si wheels
As of now I'm waiting to paint the body.

Hello! New here. I drive a 1999 Honda Accord LX 2.3L 4 cylinder manual. I didn't actually know how to drive a manual before getting this car, my boyfriend had to test drive it for me but I was hellbent on getting a manual. Love it now. I drove a 2000 Ford Ranger for 8 years before this and I've gotta say, I love having a truck but man I LOVE getting good gas mileage haha. Excited to read up on the forums and learn more.

Hello! Just became a "former Honda owner" after selling my 2015 Civic EX. Nothing super fun like everyone else's -- automatic, all stock, just had some nice neoprene seat covers and ceramic tint, but I did love it. Hoping to connect with the community and maybe I'll get some info for the next Honda prospect...
