Lurker
Hello everybody!
I've been a lurker for years, decided to finally sign up because I recently got back into the Honda game and I want to be involved in the forums this time.
First Honda I built was when I was 16. It was a 1997 Integra GS-R. Got it bone stock and modified it continuously while daily driving as a high schooler. Funds weren't so great due to me working part-time at that age, but I couldn't help but buy parts, so I was almost always broke lol. By the time I turned 17 I had turboed my first Honda. Dynoed at 300whp, tuned by Jason Waters in Atlanta Georgia. Daily drove it until I went to basic training for the military. Came back home after tech school and went to drive it for the first time in MONTHS. Distributor went out, fixed it. One week later of being home the GS-R jumped time. The distributor I used apparently had a loose screw inside of it and jammed the distributor gear which in turn, locked the intake cam while the exhaust side still spun. Bent 2 valves, didn't have time to fix it and had to purchase a new vehicle to get back to base. Sold the GS-R
Bought a Subaru BRZ that is my daily for now and saved up to buy a $1000 bone stock EG sedan that is so far a pain in my *** (build thread coming soon).
Point is, I missed Hondas so much that I'm back in the Honda game but I'm gonna go cosmetics for a little bit and then get back into the performance side.
Glad to be on Honda-Tech
