wow. i dunno what's going on nowadays, but that's a lot of power for a y8 head with those wacky ports. nice!
z6 head flows so much better. but i too stuck it out with a y8 head for a high compression NA build because i liked the combustion chambers and wanted to see what i could get in terms of tq between the long stroke and the swirl ports.

Its the orignal head and block and tranny that came in the car just really wanted to see how far I could take it before I b swap it no point in ditching the d series till I knew how much I could squeeze out of it before I move on plus everyone's talking **** on single cams motivated me to make it faster and more power then most of the b series guys talking **** its just about at its limits so not much more to do
my outlook on things is different nowadays but still i believe a perfect street setup can be attained with a D - no need for anything else. it has great low end becos of stroke and it's cheap.
Ya I like it I really can't street it cuz too many retards brought a whole lot of police attention to the car scene up here but its a good reliable track car just need to get my suspension right and drop my times I'm just at the point now I might as well keep the d for now till I can build a b to be over 700 HP cuz no point in going back word in power just to swap a b series in I just can't get more out of a single can with out destroying the block sleeved or not
