Long time browser, had another account (Towlieee) but can't login and it says my email isn't right to reset pass?
Anyways, I had a 90 prelude Si for like 6 years, had a DA integra recently for around a year, and I just snagged the best steal of a deal on a 03 Civic si
Got the car from a good friend, for waaaaay too cheap. 94k miles, he is the original owner, I paid $1,000! It needs a little work, but I work at a full service shop and can work on it, on the clock! Still in real nice shape, not molested at all, has some cheap coil overs and some angel eye aftermarket projectors on it. He didn't even "race" it really, lots of highway miles commuting 40 miles each way. Has a spot of rust under the passenger door, but that will be cut out and replaced come spring
My near future plans for it are (most likely) some bronze like 6 or 7 wide spoke wheels with sticky tires, the hood's clear coat is peeling so might go with a carbon fiber hood, around spring/summer throw new shocks on it and replace bushings/ball joints etc. I will be throwing a "cheap-ish" snail on it for temporary, throw just a tiny bit of boost it, then decide if I want to swap the motor or just build this engine, I need to do a lot more research. I'd love to (like in a year) be able to put down 350-400hp, but for now with the low miles, figure I'd just do a cheap snail setup, head gasket, head studs and rod bolts. Need to do more research on this motor see what is "quote" "safe" on a mostly stock motor. Still need to do a leak down on it.
Going to be a fun little project, and be jealous at what I paid lol.
