I got my 1986 Accord from a lady that had it parked for some years. The fuel pump was bad, so i replaced it and got it running. Since it had sat for so long the HVAC controls and several other buttons were "gummed up" and took some time pushing on them to free up. I then let my 16 year old drive it for a while until she burnt up the clutch and had a minor fender bender with it. So it sat in the driveway for a few years until this last June when i got it up and running again. At first i could not get any of the buttons to work for the HVAC. Now i have the defrost working with the first 2 stages of the fan, but if i try and move the fan to a higher speed it shuts off. And if i try and change it to any of the other switches it shuts everything off and it takes a bit of pressing on the ones that work to get it back on. Anything that i can do to get them all working?
