Howdy!
An intro eh?

Currently Service Manager @ Diamond Motor Sports, Dover, DE here's our website:

go to 'About Us', click on 'Staff' and you'll find my truncated bio...
Started at DMS in 1977 and worked there till I was recruited by American Honda.
Started at AHM in 1985 as a District Service Manager in the motorcycle division where I also filled in from time to time as a training instructor.
Left AHM in 1990 and started my own business called For Honda's Only in Chesterfield, VA, specializing in Honda motorcycle restorations and Honda car maintenance.
My business folded in 2006 when my bloodsucking ex-wife and her attorneys destroyed my life and took everything I had. Don't worry - I'm not bitter... (Moral of the story, don't get married but if you do get married, you damn well better stay married!)
I own a forest green '99 Accord EX Coupe that I bought 18 months ago because I think it is the best Honda Accord ever made and I always wanted one. I spent 3 months searching for this car and looked at 6 of them before finding/buying this one. I am the 3rd owner. The first owner lived in West Chester, PA and commuted to Harrisburg 5 days a week. All service done at Scott Honda in West Chester until the transmission failed at 198k, whereupon he traded it in at Acura in West Chester. One of the techs there bought it, rebuilt the trans and drove it for a couple of years until his wife got pregnant with their second child. He sold it to me so he could buy an Odyssey. I've mechanically restored it to perfection, it is currently waiting on a paint job. I replaced the timing belt/water pump etc. a few months ago and adjusted the valves. Because it has had nothing by Mobil1 in it since it's first oil change, there is ZERO sludge under the valve covers. I Love This Car!
I also own a 1997 Accord LX F22B2 that I bought for my 17 year-old son with 267k on the clock. We have been restoring that car for about 4 months now and it is driving me nuts. It has an intermittent no start since we bought it. I am losing my mind and is the reason I am joining your forum. I am told Honda Tech is the best on the net.
Please check out my post (97 Accord No Start) and help out an old man who's hit a brick wall!
Regards,
Michael Rush
