I live in Kentucky in a neighborhood directly across the Ohio River from downtown Cincinnati.

I'm 27 years old, regular working guy.


I caught this website from a google search about my car.

Bear with my as I don't know much about car maintenance. And mine is getting old so im glad I found this site.

MY CAR: 1993 Honda Accord LX
mileage: 180,000
4 cylinder

It runs great! I mean this car rocks. I drive like a grandpa to preserve it for as long as possible. ((I cant afford a new car!))
Last winter I drove it from Cincinnati to Boston and back. Like I said, GREAT CAR..

That is the last roadtrip this car with take, however. Now I just use it around the city hopping bridges from KY to OH....

Anyway, I saw a $20 oil change discount at a local garage so I popped in there. The guy divies up the bill and says, $62.00...... claims my car requires HIGH MILEAGE OIL

I said no just put regular oil in it ($60 for an oil change seems stupid).... but I got to wondering if he had a point. Maybe he wasn't just trying to bank on my lack of car engine knowledge... Does my car need "HighMileageOil" ??
