Honda Pilot Safty Feature or Defect??
Hi All,
I recently bought 2025 honda pilot and I am traveling with my family. After driving for 8 hours I decided to relax for few minutes and have a coffee in the car. While parked, With ignition on, AC on and all my family sitting inside the car, after 30 minutes the ignition was turned off automatically. Please note that idle stop feature was already turned off. I got worried and sat in the car for another 30 minutes with ignition on, AC running and again it shut itself, while parked. Any idea if that’s a safety feature or a defect? I contacted honda dealers nearby and first one wasn’t aware and second one suggested it may be a safety feature for people who accidentally leave the ignition on overnight.
