I'm Lucas. I am new to the site and I mainly came here because I have allot of questions. I want to be more involved in the honda community where I live. But I unfortunately do not have allot of knowledge. These questions probably sound silly, but I just bought my first car. (97 civic LX 4dr) My first question is mainly about the motors. First is like what different engines are there and what did they come in? Like I know my car came with a d16y7, but what came in the type r integra and em1, etc. And also, what is a h2b?. I know of most of the motors (d15, d16, b16, b18, b20, k20, k24, f22, f23, h22,) but what others is there as well as different varient? ( isn't there like 3 different d16s?)

Tl;Dr: I need basic knowledge on motors.
