Default Hello Honda-Tech!

Well, as the title says Hello Honda-Tech! Last Thursday I picked up my first Honda for $450 flat! It's a 1991 Honda Civic Si, I bought it with the intent of turning it into a quick little street car/weekend warrior. The car is OBD-1 converted, engine bay is wire tucked, the battery has been relocated to the back, and the interior looks really good for a '91! Plans as of right now are to get that engine mount location welded back into place where it looks to have snapped, OBD-1 b16 dropped in, then paint, then maybe engine rebuild, suspension, or turbo? This is my first project car and I have little know how other than my hours upon hours of research, but I hope to get to know you all well and hopefully be able to help other's that are in my position later down the road. Anyways, enough talk! Pictures!

No idea what these are for!

This is the snap I was talking about.

Hope you know what you're doing! Looks like the last owner abused it bad.

Not really, it looks like 80% of EF's still left in existance, tired.

That motor mount ordeal is a little terrifying, as is the fact that the odometer reads 46 miles on it.

For $450 though, it's a steal.

That's true. It is a 22 year old car. Then bay and wires just look kind of bad.

Thanks guys! Although do any of you foresee the engine mount being that big of an issue in the long run with getting it welded? And yes, it is definitely going to be a "project." And I'm not going to lie, I don't know much other than what maintenance I've done on my daily driver. So this is definitely going to be a huge learning experience for me, it should be a fun and challenging process none-the-less.

Welcome. Not a bad price if you can save it.
