Hello and HELP?!
Greetings to my fellow Honda lovers!
I am getting a new used car this week or the next and I'm trying to narrow down my search. Miss having my '97 accord, it was awesome. So I'm going back to Honda!
I am ready and able to do my own mechanical work (minus transmission and engine swaps) and would like some recommendations from the experts here!
I know that certain year/model combinations are "less desirable" for certain scenarios.
If I want a reliable, strong Honda, that I can do most of the repairs "easily" on, which year/model do you all suggest? I'm in love with the Civic and the Accord. Preferably 2003+ (dealers usually don't have older).
Any help would be great.

It depends what you're looking for out of the car.
Are you using it for a Daily driver?
Do you plan on doing aftermarket mods to your vehicle?
Also.. most honda's are pretty easy to work on.
