I recently purchased a 2000 civic cx hatchback for $1000 as my second car last Saturday. It has already surpassed the time I've had my first car for, which was an x5 for a whopping 48 hours. Currently the paint is chipped all over the car, there is a speed hole in the hood, the muffler is more rust than metal, the rear tail light is cracked, all cylinders misfire, it cannot exceed 60 mph, and it failed inspection. It did manage to survive the hour drive home with is a big W. I've already been offered more to sell it but Im not fully sure yet since just looking at the pos makes me smile. I might keep it as a project car but Im not fully sure yet.

 

Don't sell it! Welcome. Honda engines are pretty robust. I cleared up the misfires in my Integra with a new set of spark plugs and spark plug wires. There's an easy task to get your feet wet.
