Hello all!
I have heard that this is the place to be for information and help on all that is Honda!
I am 54 and a shade tree mechanic (and not a very good one, at that.)
My first car was an 81 Accord sedan (back in 1987). I had a 2005 Accord (wish I had that one back). My current daily driver is a 2012 Civic sedan.
I am a police officer and a guy called up one day looking for his 78 Accord hatchback. The mechanic he had left it with had moved and he could not find him. I located him and the car and all was well. About 3 months later the guy texted me and asked if was interested in it. He was moving out of state and couldn’t take it with him so he gave it to me! I’ve never won anything in my life but that was like the lottery to me! It’s as close as I can get to my first car. When you get to my age nostalgia is a big thing.
Anyway, I’m gonna need a lot of info and advice to get this baby on the road and here is the place I have come to.
