Hello all from Ore-gun
I have a 2015 Honda Accord, and a friend with a pos 1990 Accord. My background is in medicine, aviation, taxes, and real estate. I am licensed as a aviation mechanic, but I do OK with cars too. Does this post count as one post?My friends car is giving trouble, but I can't see the images in the threads. Will that change? Glad to meet you all.
Old threads likely had images on hosting sites and the pics went the way of the dinosaur.
Newer threads the images are hosted or are a part of honda-tech so the images will be around as long as honda-tech is or until deleted by the user.
I like how you put up Oregon so people wouldn't be inclined to do the old annoying Oree Gone routine.
Oree gun spelled Oregon.
Wondering what part you are from, I grew up in Portland but now live in BC Canada.

Hi Tom and thanks for the shout out. I'm from Eugene/Springfield. Not the most exciting area, but not so crowded that I have to sit in any traffic jams. Yea I've heard all the different Oregon jokes, but I like to say Ore-GUN cause I think everyone is armed around here
. You like BC? Sometimes I wish I was up there. Thanks, Don

Probably. Wasn't so bad when I was a kid but I suppose it's gotten worse over the years.
BC is okay. Really, every place has it's "challenges", BC is not any different.
The work for me is better here than it ever was in Oregon. Never had much luck there.
The culture is totally different. I'm used to the up front in your face culture of the African American crowd so getting used to the passive aggressive nature of the "British" proper culture has been a serious adjustment. Not sure I like it any better really.
One tip for your car, look into getting the helms factory service manual (FSM) for your car.
You can either buy one from helminc.com or sometimes a good google search can find you a good pdf copy of it. I haven't actually looked for the Accords but I suspect there is some out there.
The FSM will be the bible to your car and makes life so much easier. Unlike other manufacturers, Honda went all out on their manuals with some of the best trouble shooting around.
Cheers and nice meeting you.
