Default Hello all

Hi, I'm just here for a little advice, I guess?
My husband passed away 2 years ago and he was a longtime member on this site. He left his '97 Civic Hatchback to our then 12 year old son. Sounds great, right? Well, our son is severely autistic and while it was his father's dream to teach his son to drive his favorite car, I'm afraid that's just not possible. First of all, it's a manual transmission. My son can't even tie his shoes, and he's 14 years old now. And then there's the other big problem. Before my husband passed away, he took the whole thing apart under the hood. I mean everything. It's just a frame from the windshield forward. I've moved since his passing, and had to drag the car and the parts with me.
I'm considering selling it and the motor. But I don't know what it's even worth. All I know is that the motor was a big deal to my husband. It's a B18C1.
Any ideas what it might be worth? I can't put this car back together, and my husband was changing everything over to be computerised (He took out the speedometer and whatnot, it's a computer screen now). I wish I could remember his user name on here, he has pics of it posted back around October or November 2014.
**** EDIT: His user name on here was Norlael and he probably has pictures of the car and all the info about what he's done with it posted on threads from autumn 2014.
