Whats up all. My name is mike. I just picked up a 1997 civic hx. All stock for the most part. Has exaust short ram intake and lowered on lowering springs. Shes a piece of crap but my piece of crap. I love it and i have plans for it. Eventually want to do some kimd of swap. Im new to that kind of thing but eager to learn and to build a faster ride as the hx is slow as hell haha. I know im gonna get a bunch of bs for being a noob and not knowing alot but i am looking foward to talking with the few that will honestly give good advice. Side note.... does anyone know what kind of swap i could and or should do. I have the stock hx whick i believe is the d16y5. Was thinking about doing a y8.
Ive heard alot about the hx is known for throwing the rod through the block and i would obvioisly like to avoid that haha. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.
