Default Getting Ripped Off Lead Me Here.

Hello everyone, well where do I start ? I do not know how to work on these motors very much. I reside In Phoenix Arizona & I am 20 about to be 21 in a few months. I bought my 1st car about 2 years ago which is a 1996 Honda Accord Lx 2.2 4cyl F22B2 .
The car ran perfectly fine but unfortunately I was careless & didn't install a alarm so it got stolen!
luckily I got the car back but the motor was burnt out. Not knowing what to do I put the car up for sale on Craigslist for a few hundred dollars. I got many offers but buy the stroke of luck someone contacted me and offered to put a motor in for 600 bucks. Which is a fairly good deal. I stopped working due to lack of transportation & the car had to sit for about 2 months. Finally got the car running again & the first issue was the D4 light. (Automatic) then other issues arose. & now I recently got jipped & I'm tired of letting other people deal with my issues. That's why I'm here. Thanks everyone in advance.

It blinks / flashing. Its a slow flash. I remember reading somewhere that depending on the speed on the flash that will give you a better idea of where to test it.

Dont know about lights blinking but since your vehicle is a 96, try hooking it up to code reader, im sure theres a code in there that will tell you whats happening with the tranny. Oreilys and autozone do code readings for free.

Hello again everyone. I forgot my manners and forgot to thank everyone who takes there time to read my thread. I really appreciate the help. It does help motive me to really learn this on my own. Like you suggested I went to auto zone and received the check up and these are the codes that came up.
Let me mention that in about the last 2 month's I've been noticing a ridiculous amount of gas lossed due to what I am not sure. Right off the bat I already ordered a repair manuel to help me learn more in detail on what to do. The auto zone paper suggest I get new spark plugs and a new wire set... I'm not sure yet though. I want to wait until I get the book. Does anyone suggest otherwise? Would replacing the suggested things help? I have the money to spend so might as well spend it and see what other codes may pop up?

Error Codes Read
P0301 Cylinder 1 Misfire
P0303 Cylinder 3 Misfire
P0304 Cylinder 4 Misfire
P0302 Cylinder 2 Misfire
P0441 EVAP System Inccorect Purge Flow
P0753 SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE A FAILURE
P1300 Random Misfire

Post in the accord section (1990-2002)

You'll get better feedback there. Ghostaccord and Mad Mike are pretty knowledgeable.
