Autolock does not work, car just got stolen
my car just recently got stolen with the autolock on. woke up got ready for school, went outside and thought WTF, my car was gone. I had so much faith in the autolock then, now i'm thinking twice about investing $60.
just got back from the site where they strip my car, and "wow" i just learned a new technique to get through the autolock. the way it was done maybe took only 30 sec to do. i will not described how it was done, and no they did not use a tow truck.

yea too bad,,, the design of the autolock is plain and simple... it works on a pivot. if you dont pull up on it hard enough the pivot wont work... but if you pull it up too much you cant turn the key to release it...
ive done testing on it myself,,, its not a full proof unit... a simple work of a hammer can loosen it.... (try it. pull up on it as hard as you can till it stops clicking.. and try and unlocking it.. you wont be able to turn and unlock it..>>try at your own discretion,, not responsible if you cant unlock it....)
nothing new ...
good luck on the car

Damn, that sucks man.
My friend's DC2 was also stolen with the autolock on. But, we think a tow truck got his car because when we recovered the car, the autolock was still there.
BTW, what was stolen?

The Club, Autolock, etc are all theft deterrents, they will not STOP a theif. It's very easy to get both off. Time and time again, it is said, if someone wants your car, they will take it.
You must learn to layer your security. An alarm alone, or an Autolock alone won't accomplish anything.
Alarm w/starter kill
Removed door switches
Club
Autolock
Several kill switches
Remove fuses
Remove ECU
Removable steering wheel
Tire boot
You can do many things, but it can still be towed away. The car can easily be broken into through the window as well and things be taken.

Re: (jdmpremonition)
stock!!!WTF
Now I'm debating putting my SI's on my stock EG8. It'd be the first change besides the tinted windows. Damn, sorry to hear of your loss!
