Icon7 Getting back into Hondas (help?)

Hey how's it goin guys, currently I don't even own a Honda, but I'm soon to be getting one again, the question right now is which one.

I've owned 2 6th gen accords and 1 EK civic (one accord got rear-ended and totaled the day after i bought it, and the civic had title issues). All 3 auto's and the civic and 1 of the accords were base models, the other accord was an EX (loved it)

So right now I own a 1993 Toyota Camry v6 auto, and honestly I'm not the biggest fan of it. I mean the car is good for A to B, and drives decent with decent power, however driving it just doesn't have that "spark" that driving those Hondas did, especially the Civic.

I'm about to be looking to spend about $8k or so on a car, and I can't decide whether to buy an 05/06 rsx type-s, or if I should buy an older civic (EK more than likely) or an older integra and tastefully mod it (and possibly turbo for the extra kick).

I suppose this is a subjective question, but what would you guys recommend? (other cars I'm considering are a g35, 8th gen accord coupe v6 6mt if i can afford one, wrx, and possibly neon SRT4)

Also, what do you guys think of this?

You can buy a REALLY nice "done" 92-00 Civic, or 94-01 Integra for $8K. I'm talking K swapped, nice wheels/suspension/brakes, etc. I'd look for something K swapped, full interior, A/C, power options, etc. since driving a gutted shell isn't fun forever.

There are many different FB groups to join/be added to for window shopping. I'd suggest NWP4LIFE and k20a.org first. Be picky.

I've recently purchased a DONE hatchback, and only plan on adding a few personal touches to it and then drive it literally forever until something breaks. I've also got it insured for $15,000.00 with State Farm for $66.00/month, and even though I could not replicate this car for $15K it'll cover my losses should something happen to it.

Four years ago at 61000 miles, I had the following modifications performed:
Procharger intercooled supercharger kit, 1000 cc injectors, Honda S1000 mapping update kit, DC Sport ceramic header and full stainless exhaust. Full dyno tune at Revline Motors in KCMO. The car makes 300 whp on Revlines dyno at 8lbs boost.
^ Personally I will never buy another modded car again if I can avoid it, especially to that extent.

Buy something clean and unmolested so you can do it your way when you have the time and ambition. Messing around with other people's hack jobs is no fun, trust me.

Yeah that's what I'm on the fence about, as well as with anything that has been swapped or built up in any way. I've seen quite a few hatches that have some decent setups for pretty cheap, but you never know what they could've messed up on and then pawned off on you, and once you spend that $$$ you're screwed.

That's what's kind of leaning me towards a slightly modded RSX (coils or springs/sways etc, i/h/e/im/kpro, light exterior mods) for a while then maybe turbo, or maybe a teg that will go f/i, as well as the interior and exterior goodies and supporting mods.

I'd love the no hassle of buying a pre-built car but with that is always the risk of something being seriously wrong (or about to be seriously wrong) and the seller being a huge *** and not telling me.

I've found an 06 RSX Type-S with only 59k miles on it in good condition for $6800, I'm thinking of going that route once I get the rest of the money for it here in a few weeks, if it's still there of course lol.
