Default diamond racing wheels

I have a 2000 Honda civic ex coupe. I am planning on buying some 15" diamond racing rims, but I am not too sure on what I should get for size. I want 15", but how wide should I go? ive heard 15X8 is really popular. I want a wide tire (non-racing), but I also want to make sure the tires I buy wont drain my bank account. What I really need to know is what tire size I should get that fits on my car without rubbing. can anyone help?

You could do 15x8s if you want. I dont think it would rub for everyday driving. Only time it might would be if you pulled a hard U-turn.
Check out wheelfire.com they have wheel and tire sets between $500-$700 great prices.
