Computer hell
Ordered a new ecu for my dad's 2003 honda element after removing the old one do i have to have new one reprogrammed?

Yes, you have to take it to a dealership to get the ECU and imobilizer in sync with your key. Also, this post doesn't belong in the "introduce yourself" section. Try https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-element-cr-v-156/
