I'm a newbie here, diving in because my 2010 Civic Coop has turned 60K miles and now has developed a throaty, rumbly vibration and rough idle.

It's not the exhaust and a local place says its not the motor mounts. I'm taking it into the local dealer tomorrow but I'm not expecting much. We will see what they discover.

But I could use any advise if you all have heard of this phenomenon. Frankly I'm a bit wary of the Honda brand. My car had premature brake wear -- widely reported on the Net. and now this. So this is the quality of a Honda?

Hmmm.

My 2009 had the premature brake wear as well, which over a year later Honda sent out a notice about it and offered to pay for it.
