Default Blank canvas

Hi everyone I have a completely stock 2001 honda civic ex coupe. I've wanted to do up a civic for awhile and not really knowing if this was the best choice to make it fit my budget as far as cost and is one of the body styles im more drawn too. Now i know that its been said that header back exhaust and a CAI is the starting point to getting going on making get up and go a bit better but im looking to make it get out of its own way and i want to do it all motor no charger no turbo i know the list of parts to do this is going to be large but any help i can get on it would be great like different ignitions fuel rails anything like that would be great if you read this and respond I would appreciate it thanks everyone.

First off, you'll want to head to the proper subforum here: https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-2001-2005-78/

Secondly, you're going to want to look into swapping the engine if you want to do all-motor. The D17 is one of the worst D-series engines for modifying, in Honda's history.
