Question to to all B swap guys... I swapped a b18 into my delsol, it was running fine until one day I was leaving work on a rainy day. I drove home about 25 minutes and noticed my temp needle going up only when driving, when sitting still it would be fine... Long story short I found out I blew my head gasket, not sure how but only thing I can guess is I sucked up a little water on that ride home threw the cold air intake. I left the car sit for a month or 2 and drove it to my garage bout 1/4 mile from my house (it drove fine just had the over heating problem but didn't over heat because the short ride) I eventually changed the head gasket and thermostat just bcuz. But now it's riding ruff. Has a sputter and smells like gas. When I'm on the highway it won't pass 65 unless I'm going down hill, on a up hill or slight hill it drops speed little by little with the pedal all the way down... Could the engine be toast or another small problem like fuel filter, map sensor or something??

Have you checked you spark plug?
After you change your headgasket , you must replace them.
If so , just look at them and reply back.
