My name is Zak, Im 21 and I have been a member for quite some time, but have never really checked in or shared my ride at all... Ive been in and out of Honda's and cars in general for the past 3 years, but I think Im keeping this one around for a while. I traded my EG coupe to a friend for this bad lad... Heres how I got my hatch.


The wheels my buddy wanted to keep tho, that was part of our agreement, so my biggest thing was finding a set of wheels and snow tires to get me thru winter, so I picked up some VX wheels with brand new snows for $180 from a friend.



Yes, I daily'd that height all winter long, RIP to the 08 Yukon lip that was custom as F*CK... Lol. Smoked an ice chunk at 55mph at 6am on my way to work.


Anyways, car came with a JDM ZC swap.... I had every intention of building it and swapping it in....... And then came along my girlfriend and new apartment, more bills, more responsibility, etc... So I put the ZC up for trade/sale and came up with this.... I needed a manual steering rack and new struts... And I wanted wheels and tires so I wasnt on 13's with snows all summer... So a guy came 2 hours my way with a manual rack, front and rear struts, some sexy wheels and tires and $200 cash money. Also since he knew I would be needing a clutch soon and I was unsure of whether the 5 speed in my car was swapped out of an 88 or 89-91, he brought me two clutches, two pressure plates and a flywheel just for free. Now my car is looking great. And my car has an S2K exhaust that has been modded to fit. Love the soundddddd! Yes theyre Honda Fit wheels


I swapped in new front upper control arms yesterday since the upper balljoint blew on my drivers side. Also swapped out the old blown struts for the new ones I got on trade with the ZC I just told you about. While I was in there I dropped the car about another inch and a half from that pic^ But definitely gonna be going back up in a day or so. Cant turn at full lock, I hit fender. Also rub on the insides of the wells even with all the plastic linings stripped out. Lol. Also sometime in the past two months I had a friend install my rear disc swap while I was at work. I did it the cheater way with Scarebird brackets so I kept my original trailing arms and everything. I was/am on a budget. And in this pic the rotor is on the wrong side of the car, it was fixed before the car was driven lol.


Also, in this pic^ Can anyone tell me what kind of springs those are? I assumed they were just eBay coils, but when I tore it apart yesterday, I could see partials of spring rates and/or name brands... Friend of mine says eBay springs dont usually have that. Also there are helper springs... Any info on those would be welcomed!!

Up next I will be putting on my 94 Accord lip, looks like its gonna pretty much fit right up, might be some very minor modification needed tho. We shall see!

Exhaust was done by the previous owner's buddy who owns a shop and sponsors a small drift crew... 3Mile Garage, in Traverse City, MI. It's exhaust off an S2000 that they had laying around and and they got a little drunk one night and decided to stick weld it on. Lol. It's a little haggard looking, but I don't mind one bit, it sounds great. Got a small leak right now, but since I hang out there a lot Frank, the owner, is gonna go thru the whole thing for $20 and patch it up. I'll try and make some sort of exhaust video for you guys.
