1994 Del Sol SI D16Z6 start problem
So far this car has given me the run around. When I first got the car I replaced the ECU with the appropriate replacement and fixed my fuel pump problem. However, I was driving on a slight downhill slope and it started to sputter then died. Since then I have replaced the alternator, distributor, spark plugs, spark plug wires, and I have also had the starter checked at O’Reilly’s and came back with a pass. I have had the battery charged a couple times and I get the same sputtering but it still won’t turn over. Any suggestions and checks are welcome. Please help.
Side note: no codes and all lights come on. Pulleys spin too.

Hi Malt-liquor. Thanks for the hint!
I also have thought about it... but the spark plug cables are connected correctly
the problem really is that somehow the car decides that it is in knid of danger and therefore it doesnot give allowance to the fuel pump to work

I ended up taking to a shop. The timing belt was off by 2 teeth and the crank shaft was off. Replace the timing belt and make sure everything is lined up with timing marks.
Had the water pump and other belts replaced to. It was about $1,000 but I had an extended warranty service so saved me half 😅.
