Can anybody tell me where I can find an "engine oil flow" diagram? Having IVTEC problems, purchased the vehicle with a broken timing chain, replaced chain, guides, tensioner, solenoid valve and oil control valve. Getting code P1259, failing VTEC test immediately Previous shop had replaced timing components and dented the oil pan directly below sump pickup (already repaired). Getting 60 psi at idle, spikes to 80-85 at 3000 rpm (warm), I'm a 40+ year tech (Master Certified) and really HATE having an inanimate object kicking my butt! ANY ideas? Sometimes can't see the forest for the trees! I've got a feeling I've got a restriction somewhere in the system. Strange thing was, I ran Seafoam thru the oil and expected to see "dirty" oil when I drained it (and did), but when I removed the filter, the oil tat came out of it was clean!
