Well, you posted jack **** in form of a question, but I'll take a stab at this anyway...

If you are talking about a mini-me swap, then yes, it can be done. You need the head from a D16Z6 (92-95 sohc) or D16Y8 from a 96+ sohc VTEC. You won't need to run any additional oil lines or anything. I think this will work for the SOHC ZC's. I'm not sure about the DOHC ZC's, as I know very little about these motors. Someone else care to clarify? (Including the original poster, wtf do you want to know about this?)

woops guess i forgot that part sorry lol.


95 honda civic vx, just put a jdm zc sohc vtec in it. left d15z1 tranny that came with factory motor in new clutch and pressure plate and throw out bearing. put 95 si computer in. evrything works fine when you start the car, idles fine, but when you rev up the motor it semms bog out when you put full throttle it feels like its tryin too turn off but doesnt. only way to explain it is its like a redline but slower at 2500 rpm. it wont go above 2500 rpm's. also have new spark plugs. new wires. need help asap. thanks

Distributer problem? Have that checked out. Other than that, check for vacuum leaks and such. Good luck

i fixxed it. it was the wrong map sensor on the engine. got a new one and drove car around.lol thanks for your help though
