Is it worth it for a swap?
I was using the search tool (wow!) and I was looking at possible swaps for a Del Sol. The model I was looking at purchasing in the near future was a 1995 VTEC, which has 160hp. Anyway, it seemed that the most recommended setup was the the B16C1 had 170hp. I don't understand how this is worth it... maybe because there are more parts available, but I see this as being worthless. Are there any other swaps that would yield more horsepower?
If you get the vtec del sol, you might as well as keep that and build on that. Most people that do swaps, are the ones that buy the sohc del sol. I'd say just build your engine and get some boost.
its a B18c1, which is the GSR swap... and in my opinion its very worth it. There is only so much you can get out of a B16, which is an awsome engine in itself. but if you have the money get the B18, More displacement = more power... and plus you can do alot more to that engine that you think..... GSR
Or get the Type R, 200 horse

yeah that 160hp del sol is a nice setup already. b16's are just as honorable to build as a b18. of course the b18 is better but it not really worth spendin all that loot for a swap when u can put that into your already potent b16 del sol.
