were putting a 2001 b16a2 swap into a 93 si delsol..everything is in and wired with the si harness...and swapped the p28 for a p30. my question is, what the hell should i do with the crank sensor? i heard that the p30 wont read it and its useless,that i need an obd1 sir dizzy,that my car wont start or will run on limp mode... ect.. wich is true?? and what is the sensor just above the fuel rail for??

any kiind of help would be much appreciated.

 

What dist. is on the motor now?

 

USED OBD1 GSR DISTRIBUTOR OR B1G W/ YOUR DELSOL HARNESS.THATS THE EASY WAY/.

 

You can use the obd2 dist. just cut the plug off and soldier the si one on the wire colors are the same.

and anybody knows what is that sensor on the fuel rail for??

sensor on the fuel rails is for the charcole canister.one hose goes the the intake vac. and the other goes to charcole canister.vtec will work.
