Default wiring problem

me and my friend are swapping in a GSR motor in his 00 EX. We are using the 00 ex harness on a 98 gsr, the ex harness distributer wires have 8 wires but the gsr distributer has 9 wires , how do i wire that up? and we are using a 99 Si ECU.

Don't worry about the blue wire coming off of the distributor. It is used for a RPM signal. The '99-'00 Civics got a RPM signal elsewhere.

You will need to take the plug off of your Civic distributor and put it on the GS-R distributor to make it plug up.
