Default wiring a b18c1

hey, i going to start wiring Vtec on my 94 cx, i have a 00 b18c1 and a p28 ecu that im getting chipped soon, just making sure all i have to do is wire vtec solenoid(a4) and oil pressure(d6), and then run the ground(black wire i believe) to somewhere(im thinking around where the trans. ground is located). I dont have to run the EVAP purge wires becuase there not necessary, right?

Besides the "basic" additional wiring that you need to run.... you're going to have to change 90% of the plugs on that motor if you want it to plug into your OBD-1 Civic harness. The 2000 motor is OBD-2 so a lot of your plugs will need to be swapped over or spliced in. Parts wise, like distributor, alternator, injectors, etc, are the same between OBD-1 and OBD-2 so you won't need to change them out, but rather just modify the plug so it fits onto your Civic harness.

i have the harness from the 00 motor, i also already plugged it in the the civic harness, it all plugged in except for one plug on the passenger side shock tower harness, but anyway, my car started right up, although i need to wire VTEC.
